Terms of service
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending our events, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Photography & Videography Consent
Please note that photographs and videos may be taken at our events for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes. By attending, you grant us permission to use this content in which you may appear.
If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, it is your responsibility to notify us in writing prior to the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, but cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all media.
2. Code of Conduct
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all attendees. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
- Discrimination of any kind (including but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability)
- Sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct
- Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour
- Excessive intoxication or substance misuse
Any individual found engaging in the above behaviours will be removed from the event immediately without refund and may be permanently banned from attending future events.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
2.1. All content and materials available on the platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and event content, are the property of Singles Socials South Africa (PTY) Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
2.2. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any platform content without prior written consent from Singles Socials South Africa (PTY) Ltd.
2.3. If you attend one of our events with the intention of stealing ideas, we we reserve the right to take legal action towards you in order to protect our intellectual property.
3. Fees and Payments
3.1. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. Singles Socials South Africa (PTY) Ltd. is not responsible for any issues arising from payment processing failures or unauthorized transactions.
3.2. Event ticket cancellations are eligible for a 50% refund at Singles Socials South Africa' discretion if cancelled 7 or more days before date of event. Thereafter, no refunds are applicable.
4. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
By attending our events, you acknowledge and agree that participation is entirely at your own risk. While we take reasonable steps to create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment, we do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss, injury, damage, or incident that may occur before, during, or after the event.
This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, loss of personal belongings, or interactions between attendees.
By attending, you agree to release and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your participation. We remain committed to fostering a safe space and will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the wellbeing and comfort of our guests.
5. Right of Admission Reserved
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who does not comply with these terms or whose behaviour negatively impacts the experience of others.
6. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
